BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! There were a number of members who were unable to attend the last Simulation tour held in January. ASU College of Nursing and Health Innovation has agreed to host another tour for those who missed the January program. Their internationally accredited Simulation & Learning Resources (SLR) provides simulation and clinical lab experiences to students in Pre-licensure, Post Baccalaureate and Doctorate Nurse Practitioner nursing programs and offers students experiential hands-on learning opportunities such as completing assessments, exercising clinical decision-making skills and leading interventions in realistic healthcare settings.  The SLR is equipped with real-life manikins, both pediatric and adult, that can simulate true disease states and health issues that humans experience. The students are presented with simulated emergencies where they are expected to intervene and help remedy. You will find the SLR replicates a real hospital setting with true-to-life patient situations and emergencies.  This is one program you do not want to miss! Come see how our current and future health care providers are trained to care for us!

Cost: $25 (includes sack lunch, refreshments).

Members and guests welcome!
