Join us as Dennita Sewell, the Jacquie Dorrance Curator of Fashion, shares her insights and exhibit background surrounding the Iris van Herpen installations at the Phoenix Art Museum. Dennita, who is also a professor at ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts and a Charter 100 Member, will give a presentation about this limited time exhibit, Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion, which surveys 15 collections of the dynamic, innovative work of the Dutch designer. Iris van Herpen, widely regarded as one of fashion’s most forward-thinking creators, continually pushes the boundaries of fashion design and is often hailed as a pioneer in utilizing 3D printing as a garment construction technique.
